About me:

‍I am Martin Eyl, an experienced CFO and entrepreneur with a passion for financial planning and strategic growth. I recognized early on how important precise financial management is for the success of companies. This conviction has guided me throughout my career — from my time as a consultant at McKinsey to leading positions in start-ups, where I have guided companies through phases of creation, growth and restructuring. As CFO at Tidely, I'm currently proud to be working with a great team on liquidity planning software that helps CFOs and entrepreneurs make more informed decisions and sharpen their vision of the future.

‍My approach:

‍For me, financial planning is not just a matter of numbers, but a tool for making companies sustainable and innovative. With a combination of analytical thinking and pragmatic implementation strength, I work on developing financial strategies that create added value not only in the short term but also in the long term. Over the decades, I have created or checked daily, weekly or month-based liquidity plans in Excel myself in my career and therefore know the pain that these complex and often error-prone processes cause. I know from personal experience that Excel does not provide a good solution to these challenges. That's exactly why I love working on Tidely — a software that frees CFOs and entrepreneurs from this pain and offers them a real alternative to bring transparency and security to their financial planning.

‍Privates:

‍In addition to my work, I enjoy spending time with my family — I am married and a proud father of three children. In my free time I am an avid hockey player and skier, activities that not only keep me physically fit but also clear my mind. This balance between work and private life helps me to always approach my projects with a clear focus and full commitment.
